This is a hooded parka with padding from GAP, made in 2002.
The shell is made of 100% lightweight and abrasion-resistant nylon, and the interior features DuPont's Thermolite EXTRA insulation. It provides ample warmth while minimizing the amount of padding, showcasing the functional design characteristic of the early 2000s.

The front features a double-zip fly front (covered placket) to prevent cold air from entering while maintaining a clean look. The hood is detachable with snap buttons, allowing for a 2-way design that can also be worn as a stand-up collar.

The interior is extensively lined with fleece, providing a soft feel against the skin and high heat retention. The inner pocket includes a "cell phone pocket" for mobile phones of the time, as well as an earphone hole (cord hole) for passing earphone cords through. This gear-like detail, unique to Y2K GAP, is designed for easy use with music players and other devices.
Outdoor elements such as a drawcord at the hem, cord loops, and zippered pockets are also incorporated.
