RT 116 pressure switches incorporate a pressure-controlled single-pole changeover switch where the position of the contact depends on the pressure in the connection port and the setpoint value. The RT series includes pressure switches, differential pressure switches and pressure switches for neutral zone regulation, all intended for general use in the industrial and marine segments. The series also covers safety pressure switches dedicated to steam boilers. For installations where operation is particularly critical from a safety and economic point of view, the use of fail-safe pressure switches is recommended. The use of plated contacts is also recommended in such installations, provided the operation involves only a few switching cycles or signal currents and voltages.
