- INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: You can pair the SIT Proflame 2 remote control with your fireplace or stove using the simple programming function on the existing receiver. Press the programming button on the receiver once. You will hear a short beep, indicating that the receiver is ready to receive a new code from the SIT Proflame 2 remote transmitter. Next, press the on/off button on the SIT Proflame 2 remote control transmitter. The receiver will emit four beeps, indicating successful pairing.Now that both devices are using the same radio frequency code, the remote control works properly.
