Vintage set of two framed Parisian Fashion Prints, from hand colored engraving plate prints. These vintage giclee prints of young women have probably come from 'LA Mode Illustrate' as one of them is stamped "Leroy Imp Paris."
'LA Mode Illustree,' was a woman's finest source for Parisian fashions, and made these prints from about 1860 through the 1920s. These are double matted and have been hand detailed with golden circles bordering each picture for a very personal touch.
Framed in matching gold frames, with black mattes with gold trim and the handpainted gold sparkling circles are applied to a second matte of light blue paper surrounding the edges.
Each is signed by a different artist but difficult to read.
The frames measure almost 13" x 11" and the pictures, about 7" x 6."
