Easy Installation for Tough Fire Protection Lightweight, yet strong, 3M Fire Barrier Plenum Wrap 5A+ is a fire-resistant wrap. We designed this wrap with an inorganic fiber blanket encapsulated with a scrim-reinforced foil, creating a fire-resistive enclosure that can reduce the flame and smoke spread ratings to acceptable levels in return air plenums. This product is tested to UL 910 (NFPA 262), UL 1887, and ASTM E 84 and is made with flexible material for easy installation. We constructed this material to be a non-asbestos wrap with a 6 pcf (96 kg/m3) density.
