It's made from multiple layers of aluminum/polyester, bound with a fire-resistant adhesive, enduring up to 250F. A galvanized wire helix reinforces the duct, preventing collapse. While it's UL 181 Class 1 listed, avoid installing it in lengths over 14 feet, but it can be cut to size. Always verify local building codes before installation.
