4" Square Recessed Lighting Platforms P406TAT, P406TCP

A 4-inch square aperture, high-grade modular housing platform that accommodates tungsten-halogen, compact fluorescent, and ceramic metal halide lamps. Ideal for 2x6 residential framing or shallow plenum commercial installations. The platform is sealed to prevent energy loss, room drafts, dust marks on ceilings, and reduce sound transmission. Keep insulation 3 inches away from the top and sides of the housing. A complete fixture comprises three components: a P406TAT housing platform, a 4-inch lamp module, and an optical element. Modules and elements can be changed post-installation from below the ceiling, offering various lamp sources and optical distributions. The P4MRTAT and P4MRTCP housings come with the MA4MR low voltage MR16 directional lamp module pre-installed to reduce installation time while maintaining the modular platform's flexibility.
