The RetroFit is an easy, snap in replacement mailbox door, ideal for brick or monument mailbox repair. Installs easy in less than 5 minutes. The best way to measure is the opening of the mailbox canister. This product is not compatible with plastic mailboxes. The best way to measure your mailbox is to measure the width of the canister itself. For proper fit, the canister should have a width of 6 1/4". If the width is 6 1/4", it is not typically necessary to measure the height as the USPS dictates the dimensions of USPS approved mailboxes and the height will conform as well. If you are measuring the door, you may get a measurement that is as much as a half inch greater. If that is the case, the Small 6 1/4" unit should still fit perfectly.
