The is a waterproof model featuring GORE-TEX, based on Red Wing's iconic 6-inch Moc Toe boot in Oro Russet.
The GORE-TEX® fabric lining uses "Cambrelle," a durable, moisture-wicking nylon non-woven fabric. This combination is rarely seen in casual shoes and is often used in work boots and specialty footwear, showcasing Red Wing's commitment to quality. The insole area of the lining features Thinsulate insulation, and the insole surface uses high-cushioning Poron.
The leather used is "Russet Taos." This leather is breathable and waterproof, ensuring it doesn't impede the breathability of GORE-TEX®. The breathability helps release heat from inside the shoe. To give the leather a natural look, an antique print is applied to the surface, which can otherwise appear inorganic.
By adding the waterproof and breathable performance of GORE-TEX to the robust construction of the 6-inch Moc Toe, the range of applications for Red Wing boots has expanded.
