Microplates are manufactured from clear virgin polystyrene resin selected for high optical clarity and are designed to meet industry standard dimension specifications to facilitate compatibility with microplate handling and robotics. Wells have flat bottoms and rounded square tops (square with round corners) designed to minimize wicking and reduce air bubble formation, while increasing volume capacity and surface area. Plates are stackable. All plates are free of detectable RNase, DNase, human DNA, and pyrogens. They have a footprint conforming to the ANSI/SBS 1-2004 Standard.
