Plates are manufactured from virgin polystyrene resin and are designed to be compatible with microplate handling equipment and robotics. The square-round well geometry is designed to minimize wicking and reduce air bubble formation, while increasing volume capacity and surface area. Plates are stackable with and without lids. All plates are RNase-, DNase-, and human DNA-free, and are non-pyrogenic. All plates have footprint conforming to the ANSI/SBS 1-2004 Standard. FLUOTRAC format plates are ideal for fluorescence assays.
