This is a special 100% cashmere knit from Lands' End.
While you occasionally see solid colors or V-necks, I've never seen another pattern like this one, with a check pattern and contrasting neck and hem.
Among vintage cashmere items, this one is made of 2-ply cashmere, making the fabric thick, incredibly soft, and of very high quality.
It's in excellent condition with no moth holes or shrinkage.
