24-Volt, AC Intermittent, Standard/Fail Secure Electric Strikes from the 7100 Series, designed for Adams Rite Deadlatches and Cylindrical Locks with 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection. Suitable for aluminum, hollow metal, or wood applications. Remotely control doors equipped with Adams Rite 4500, 4700 (discontinued), or 4900 Deadlatches or cylindrical locksets. Electrical actuation releases the latchbolt, allowing doors to open without operating the latch.
- Mode Conversion: Field-adjustable between Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure. Note: AC intermittent solenoids should not be used continuously in either mode
- Case Dimensions: Approximately 1" x 3-3/8" x 1-5/8" deep
- Strike Lip: Basic 7100 strike features a lip suitable for 1-3/4" thick doors that close flush with the jamb edge
- Strike Opening: 5/8" x 1-7/16" x 1/2" deep. Bolt retainer jaw is stainless steel. Compatible with bolts from Adams Rite 4500, 4700 (discontinued), or 4900 Deadlatches or cylindrical latches
- Faceplate Dimensions: Measures 1-1/4" x 4-7/8"
- Voltage Options: Available in 12 or 24 volt AC and DC. DC units are silent, while AC units produce a 'buzz' on operation
