AKM HOLIDAY HARNESS This Harness has many names it has been marketed under names adjustable harness, holiday harness, club Harness versatile harness It is all of these things, I personally I have not come across a harness that is so versatile it will fit almost anyone from perhaps 5ft to 7ft from a waste of perhaps 25''- 75''. It really does do what it says on the tin, can you imagine the advantage of that particularly if you are a diving instructor. It will fit anyone of all different shapes and sizes, now let's take the holiday situation, this harness only weighs 1.4 kilos and it folds up very small as you will see if you watch the video if we dive in a drysuit in the UK and then change to a wetsuit overseas the AKM harness will adjust very easily to the change in circumstance. We have fitted strap Loops on the two pull-down front straps to stop the harness straps from wobbling about underwater, the ditch pockets are quite unique to AKM, no matter how thick gloves that you have the pinch clips will release very the weights pocket the ditch pocket section, very easily they will slide out this is particularly useful if you are both darling or diving off a rib, and goes without saying in the unlikely event of an emergency situation it's of major importance, the last thing you want to be doing underwater in an emergency situation is fiddling to ditch your weights or not even been able to remove the pockets at all which is often the case in many harnesses that I've seen over the years. Another safety factor that has been built into the harness is the fact that all the pockets and flashes are yellow, as we all know yellow is probably the last color to disappear underwater as we dive deeper and it is clearly visible from some distance.
