These are Amiibo cards that can be used in Animal Crossing.
With a Switch or Switch Lite, you can summon residents by holding the card over the right stick, and you can invite them to the campsite. If you invite them for 3 days, you can make them residents of your island (residents only).

You can also call them to Photopia and take pictures (this is also possible with SP cards ◎).
