This is a Japanese bisque doll from FY NIPPON, known for Nene-chan and Hiko-chan, and commonly called "Yamato".
FY dolls often have a baby doll impression, but this one is a small, young lady type.
The body joints are made with metal springs, which is rare, and they make a squeaking metal sound when moved.
The head is complete, with no cracks or chips.
The sleep eyes work, but there are signs of a previous repair, and some of the wax on the eyelids is peeling.
Stuffing has been added to prevent the eyes from falling out, and they are covered with a pate.
I will send it as is.
The body is also intact and has a shine, and other than a small repaint, it is in good condition.
The outfit is from the time of purchase and is a vintage cotton separate dress. The wig is a hand-held human hair wig that suits her well, so I will include it.
Height is 43cm.
She has a gentle atmosphere and would look good in a kimono.
She looks great next to a Ichimatsu doll. As expected of a Japanese doll.
