This EMPTY antique clear glass bottle with the vertically embossed name Eckels was a well-known supplier of embalming fluid. I read that it is very collectible, particularly sought after by those who enjoy collecting or decorating with the MACABRE. My husband used to go in fields and barns marked 'posted - dangerous" because they were old and falling down. He found many things, including several pieces of glass halfway buried in the ground. It took a lot of scrubbing to even find the word on this one!! There are measurement gradations on one side. It is 8" tall. Sides each measure 2.5". Holds 16 oz. No chips or cracks. No cloudiness! Unique and interesting bottle!
