The Apollo 1 in. Brass PEX-A Barb x 1 in. Press Adapter facilitates switching from ASTM B88 Type K, L, or M copper pipe to Apollo Expansion PEX pipe using press technology. Crafted from lead-free dezincification brass, it features an EPDM o-ring for a leak-free seal when used with common press tools. A key component in economical potable water piping systems, it can also integrate into hydronic heating systems, requiring securement with Apollo Expansion PEX sleeves or compatible expansion-type sleeves or rings (sold separately). The Apollo Expansion PEX system is a comprehensive piping solution, including lead-free brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools, and tubing for use in water delivery systems, simple or complex.
