The story unfolds with the music as a backdrop. The game is set in a snow-covered former Soviet Union where "something" happens, leaving only a girl and you alive. They live together in a ruined world, lost, suffering, and struggling, yet saved by the foul-mouthed girl. The music has a variety of styles, including those typical of PC game tearjerkers, as well as elements of alternative rock and electronica, making for a collection of excellent tracks.
