- Shields operators from blade contact and debris on smaller floor-standing band saws: For vertical band saws 14 inches and under cutting wood and metal. Compact profile covers the blade without overhanging the work area. OSHA and ANSI compliant.
- Two mounting options in one kit for flexible installation: Mount to the front door via the supplied bracket, or directly to the upper housing if the door does not allow bracket mount. Requires drilling 2 holes. Hardware for both methods included.
- 6061 aluminum extrusion frame with PPG OSHA Safety Orange powder coat: Compact 4.5 by 5 inch Lexan shield covers the blade without blocking sightlines on smaller saw geometry. Adjusts on 30mm T-slot extrusion.
- Replacement Lexan shields stocked so you never wait for parts: 30mm T-slot aluminum extrusion resists corrosion and warping under coolant and chip exposure. Only the Lexan is a wear item. Does not fit bench-top band saws.
- Backed by a 1-year warranty, and only the Lexan shield ever needs replacing: The 6061 aluminum frame is a permanent installation. Replacement Lexan shields stocked and sold separately. For saws 15 inches and larger, see the VB-ES1.
