PH-BFV, a distinctive Boeing 747-400(M) or 'Combi' (mixed passenger/cargo), bearing serial number 28460, was constructed in 1999 and handed over to KLM on 16th August 1999, christened 'City of Vancouver'. It served KLM's long-haul fleet until October 2020, when it was withdrawn and ferried to storage in Teruel, Spain. The Boeing 747 Combi, a unique variant of the iconic jumbo jet, is designed to carry both passengers and cargo on the main deck, featuring a movable bulkhead for flexible configurations. Notably, PH-BFV was KLM's last operating 747 Combi, completing its final commercial flight from Amsterdam to Teruel in 2020. In 2022, it was re-registered as VQ-BWM and briefly operated as a freighter for Longtail Aviation/JetOneX before retiring in May 2022.
