Using the patent pending JACK STACK assists in centering the typical 4x4 jacking post over a bottle jack. The JACK STACK sits on top of your bottle jack saddle, and the screws are adjusted to center the JACK STACK and jacking post above directly over the bottle jack. Lifting with an off-centered jacking assembly will easily tip as load increases. JACK STACK is added convenience in keeping your post centered over your jack as well as distributing the load over the bottom of the post. It accommodates up to a 2” jack saddle (head) and 3-5/8” jacking post. Most 4"x4" posts are 3-1/2", but please ensure your jack and your favorite jacking post fit before ordering. Neither bottle jack nor post is included.

• Added convenience while jacking.
• 1/4" steel plate with rim to aid in centering the post, prevent the post from slipping off the jack, and to minimize any post base damage via load distribution. 3-5/8” square opening to fit the typical 4"x4" (nominal) post.
• Welded construction and powder coat finish.
• Max 2" opening to accommodate most jack saddles. 4/EA screws included and used for positioning the post directly over the jack. Screw thread distance to baseplate is 5/16", so please check your jack saddle thickness. Smaller saddles may not contact the entire screw face, so adding properly sized steel shims/washers (not included - see video) between saddle and baseplate may remendy said issue on thinner saddles. You can center on sloped saddles, but tightening may or may not work.
• WARNING: This product aids in centering the jacking post over the jack saddle, which is just ONE point of alignment in the lifting assembly. This product was NOT made to afix the adaptor to the saddle to allow for working on uneven ground or using if the load above is off-centered from the jack/post, etc. Under improper loading conditions, your jack will likely tip.
• NOTE: Some older, swollen, or various other 4x4 lumber may be larger than 3-1/2”. It’s likely that 99% of the posts from a home improvement and lumber yards will fit. If yours does not fit, you have a choice of carefully chiseling/trimming the bottom 3/4” of the post or finding a normal post to use.
