Khruangbin, an instrumental band that is now globally popular. This work is an ambitious project that completely dub-mixes their hit 2nd album, "Con Todo El Mundo." Laura Lee's plump and comfortably swaying basslines, Donald "DJ" Johnson's minimal and tight beats, and Mark Speer's guitar float fantastically in the reverberation, reconstructed to be more mellow and psychedelic than the original. Furthermore, the included 7-inch contains two dub mix versions by the legendary Jamaican producer Scientist, whom the band loves! This is a supreme dub album that brings out the depth and three-dimensionality of the sound to the limit, just as the title suggests, "Ascending to Heaven."
