Cal Ripken, Jr., a baseball great still holding numerous records to this day. This plate the first in a series of Baseball Record Breakers for Bradford Exchange is in EXCELLENT condition. This is numbers 9345 E, is complete in the original packaging styrofoam, and includes the COA and an information page. The artist is well-known sports artist Jason Walker. The plate is crafter of fine porcelain and encircled with a wide band of 22-karat gold. The colors are brilliant and replicate exciting visual scenes. The backstamp features highlights of Ripken's career and statistics. Plate measures approximately 8" diameter.
This plate has been stored in the original styrofoam packaging for protection. It has been away from light and has not been handled much at all through the years. This is a great collector's plate for baseball fans of all kinds. Ripken Jr. was one of those outstanding players on the field
