The EOS IX50, a best-selling 35mm standard SLR, was developed as an entry-level APS SLR, combining the excellent basic performance of the New EOS Kiss with the advanced features of APS. It is 15% smaller in volume than the New EOS Kiss and weighs only 360g. It can use EF lenses and accessories. It inherits features such as a wide-area 3-point focusing system, 6-segment evaluative metering, and E-TTL. It supports a variety of magnetic IX functions, including the Mid-Roll Change (MRC) function, the PQI function which records 9 types of shooting information on the film to improve print quality, 12 languages with 100 types of title printing, print quantity specification, and All-Frame Same Condition Print (FTPM).
