This futon is a Cotton Cloud original and is among our most popular futons. It is a versatile handcrafted futon that is designed for everyday use. This futon is ideally suited to be used every day as a sofa and the occasional bed. At the center of this approximately 6" futon are two 2.5" pieces of 1.5 density HR convoluted piece of Certipur Foam, which provides resiliency and support. This core is wrapped in 5" of natural luxurious cotton batting that is processed locally to our exact standards. All of the materials are protected by a heavy outer shell that features double-stitched seams. Our futons are tufted in order to keep all materials in place. In order to pass flammability tests per Federal Regulations, the cotton we use is treated with a small amount of borax. We can manufacture a mattress without borax, however, that would require a Doctor's note. Message us for more information.
