It's a custom astronomical quadrant with equal hours and a calendarium, tailored to specific latitudes. Choose your closest latitude and opt to include stars (up to four). Allow approximately 14-20 working days for delivery.A versatile tool for education, makeshift navigation, and rangefinding, this double-sided telemeter lets you measure angular size, compute distances, heights, depths, altitudes, or elevations. It also enables sine, cosine, and tangent calculations using its built-in trigonometry.The reverse side features functions inspired by ancient astrolabes, including a degree and slope quadrant, a shadow square, sine and cosine arcs, and an inclinometer scale with horary lines. This side allows sun's altitude measurement, time-taking, and daylight hour visualization over a year. Multiple sighting methods and trigonometric operations are possible, with over 75 applications.Using this telemeter, you can determine latitude (at night with Polaris), calculate declination, and measure sun altitude, deriving at least 18 data points directly on the device.Crafted in Germany, these instruments are precision-engraved with optimized scale marks. They include a Dyneema string, stainless steel plumb line weight, a 32-page pocketbook (English and German), and a 240-page digital manual (English, German on request).
