This Design Engineering Pipe Shield is made from durable 304 stainless steel and pre-formed with a curved shape to fit most any size pipes. Two layers of 304 stainless encapsulate a high temperature insulation, allowing up to a 2000°F direct temperature rating. Standoffs 1/2" high provide an air gap to the pipe and making mounting easy with provided stainless clamps.
- Stainless Steel Heat Barrier material on outside surfaces blocks heat and protects components better than factory shields
- Insulating inner layer helps prevent burns and blocks uncomfortable heat
- Riveted 1/2" stainless standoffs provide a secure mounting point with the included stainless clamps while also letting air flow under the shield improving its performance
- Pre-formed curve shape fits most pipe sizes; semi ridged design allows the shield to be flexed for a tight fit
- Easy to install with stainless steel straps (sold separately)
