The fully sealed interior allows for easy conversion into a small water bath by removing the block(s). A lid is now included for more uniform heating, attaching via a simple magnetic system for easy access or to prop open when extracting tubes. With dimensions of 8.3 x 12.4 x 4.7 in. (21 x29 x 12 cm), these dry baths offer a broad temperature range up to 150C, making them versatile for various applications in molecular biology, histology, clinical, environmental, and industrial laboratories. Despite being priced comparably to analog models, they feature microprocessor control and digital temperature setting and display. A microprocessor ensures precise, accurate control of high wattage heaters, allowing for easy temperature setting using arrow keys on the angled control panel, with values displayed on a large digital screen. No thermometer checking or temperature readjustment is required, improving efficiency and productivity. A user calibration feature enables easy calibration to in-house standards when needed. Additionally, an RS232 port is included for recording block temperature activity, with a data-logging software package available to link the dry bath unit to any work or personal computer, providing great versatility.
