Dodo Juice DJBVP30 Carnauba Car Wax, Blue Velvet, 30 ml

One of Dodo Juice's best selling car waxes, Blue Velvet is a high carnauba formulation especially made for dark coloured and black cars. It really suits black metallics due to light passing through the tinted wax, hitting the metal flake, and then reflecting back through the tinted wax again. The cumulative effect is a combined tint of approx 2-5% depending on application and paint type (the tint is obvious when multi-layered onto a white car for test purposes). Enough to do three to four coats on a normal sized car, i.e. you may struggle if it's a stretch Hummer or a helicopter. As well as T1 (highest grade) carnauba wax, Blue Velvet contains the finest medical grade beeswax available and a small amount of synthetic fortifiers to guarantee great gloss and water beading. This 30ml jar is enough to do 3-4 coats of wax on an average sized car, like a VW Golf - so don't be fooled by the size of the jar. It may be small but it can go a long way. Wax intervals are a recommended 3 months but garaged cars that are rarely driven may only need a coat of wax once a year (or even less). Like most carnauba waxes, this product is simple to apply. Just apply thinly to clean paintwork, allow to haze and then buff with a soft microfibre cloth. Whilst the best gloss will be from machine polishing beforehand, Blue Velvet is made to make 'everyday' cars look good - the wax is likely to fill and mask minor swirlmarks and other defects, improving the overall appearance. It is also well suited to classic cars as well as modern vehicles. The mild solvents used in carnauba waxes suit older paint types.
