The E001 metric coarse machine tap has a spiral point design, making it ideal for threading holes all the way through the work piece. It is made from powder metal high speed cobalt to give you superior performance and a longer tool life, whilst the steam tempered finish prevents work piece material from sticking to the cutting edge, so ensuring a more accurate and cleaner finish to the thread. The E001 is manufactured to conform to the International Standards Organisation and is suitable for producing threads in many materials, including steels and stainless steel.
