The E002TIN machine tap for metric coarse threads is manufactured to conform to the International Standards Organisation. It has a titanium nitride coating, which increases the life of the tap and gives better performance when threading harder material. The powder metal High Speed cobalt material from which it is manufactured will extend the life of the tap and provide a superior performance. With a spiral flute design for threading blind holes (holes which stop part way through the work piece material), the E002TIN tap can be used for threading many materials, including aluminium, steels and stainless steel.
