The bright finish helps stop workpiece material from sticking to the edge of the tool so you will get a clean and accurate thread. They are manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization and are made from powder metal High Speed cobalt, giving you greater performance and longer tool life. EX10 taps can be used to thread many materials, including stainless steels, steels and aluminium.
