The G506 90 degree countersink from Dormer is designed to chamfer holes for standard fasteners with 90 degree heads and has a shank with three ground flats to give improved holding in three jaw chucks. It can be used in both machine and hand held applications. Manufactured from High Speed steel, the G506 can be used to chamfer holes in a number of materials including steel, aluminium and stainless steels, whilst the titanium aluminium nitride coating improves the life of the tool, with better performance when it is being used for long periods at high speed.
