This automated design tool transforms a generic piping system into a gravitational sewer system for either sewage or rainwater, utilizing the desired slope, self-cleansing velocity, and maximum pipe level. It harmonizes the depths of the new system with the topography, if present, and upon request, automatically inserts manholes at junctions and direction changes using an algorithm.The intelligent drainage system supports both metric and imperial units from Autodesk Revit and is fully customizable, allowing users to add a custom database for new pipe types and formulas. These formulas use fixture units (WFU) to calculate sewage or rainwater flow across all system sections. Each section in the newly designed network will display real flow and speed parameters based on predefined sizes. The smart drainage simplifies system updates, management, and demand coping, helping to identify network deficiencies and reduce design time while minimizing errors and utilizing existing Revit model information.The application offers Long Section and BOQ generation, including excavation volume calculation, in the full version available for 15 days after initial installation.
