DS&Durga 's Mississippi Medicine is a fragrance that somehow manages to be earthy and ethereal at the same time. The smokiness of incense and cade contrasts with the brisk, terpenic undercurrents of red cedar, black pine, and cypress root. Airy aldehydes float above it all.
The closest thing I can think of is Gucci's A Midnight Stroll or Maison Alhambra's The Trail. But Mississippi Medicine has a colder, more complex feel. The 100 ml bottle is mostly full.
I know the Fragrantica notes don't match the ones below, but these came straight from the DS&Durga website.
