Looking for a reliable putty for glazing? Everbuild 101 Multi-Purpose Putty is specially formulated with the highest grade linseed oil for glazing single pane glass into window frames made from metal, softwood or hardwood. An added plasticiser improves adhesion and helps prevent cracking. This putty is unsuitable for plastic frames, heat-absorbing glass, double glazing or frames treated with decorative microporous stains. Make sure to always mix the contents of the pack thoroughly to blend in any surface oil and refrain from overpainting until a surface skin has formed, which can take between 7 and 30 days.
- EASY TO APPLY – This multi-purpose linseed oil-based putty is very workable and easy to apply.
- ENHANCED ADHESION – Added plasticiser helps improve adhesion and prevents cracking.
- MULTIPLE COLOURS AND SIZES – Also available in brown colour and in sizes of 1 kg and 2 kg, with an additional 5 kg pack available in natural.
- DURABLE – Remains flexible until a surface skin has formed, making it easy to rework. Protect with an undercoat and top coat after seven days.
- HOW TO USE – Work putty in hands before use, apply to the front face of the glass and smooth with a putty knife. After bedding in the glass, secure it with non-rusting pins or spring clips.
