★Excellent Condition★ Bessar-M 42 Modified Lens Vest Pocket Kodak Tsurutan

Other features... This is an old lens, a Vest Pocket Kodak M42 modified lens. It appears to be the early model with a black gloss finish, commonly known as "Tsurutan" (see the last photo). This is an extracted lens from a small folding camera released by Kodak in America over 110 years ago, which likely used 127 film. It has been customized for digital cameras via an M42 adapter. The precise construction feels great in your hand! With a Sony E-mount, you can achieve infinity focus using an M42-Sony E-mount conversion ring and an M42 helicoid 17-31mm. I attached it to a NEX5 and took some sample photos, so please check them out. The first three sample photos showcase the soft expression that the Vest Pocket lens excels at, but there's also no problem with high resolution when you stop down the aperture.
