Inside Mount Measure the inside opening width on top, middle and bottom. Choose the smallest value as the opening width to place the order. Measure the inside opening height on left, middle and right. Choose the largest value as the opening height to place the order. We will take off 0.2 inch based on opening width to make the blind. Blind height will be same as window height. Outside Mount Measure the outer frame width and add 1-3 inches as the final blind width to place the order. Measure the outer frame height and add 3-5 inches as the final blind height to place the order. We will make NO changes on the final blind size you chose.

• ③ INTERNAL MOUNT: For inside mount, at least 4 inches depth is needed, fill out the customization form with the exact measurement of the OPENING to the 1/16th inch then WE WILL TAKE 0.4 INCH deduction off the exact window width and 0.25 INCH deduction off the exact window height so the blind will fit perfectly in that opening. If the blind size same as the opening width, it will be hard for you to install the blind inside the opening.
• ④ EXTERNAL MOUNT: WE WILL NOT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENT, so provide us with the exact shade size you want when filling out the customization form. Outside mounts are traditionally mounted above the window opening and go slightly wider than the opening. Usually shades width need to be 3" to 10" wider than window width, shade height need to be 5" to 10" longer than window height for better coverage. All hardware is included and take 1.8" space, so actual shade is 1.8" smaller than total shade width.
