The Duna Space by Ferplast is one of the few gerbil cages specifically designed around the burrowing and digging habits of gerbils and other small animals such as hamsters. The large, extra deep 11.5-inch base eliminates bedding from scattering around the cage and caters to your gerbil or hamster's instinctual desire to burrow. The Duna Space gerbil or hamster cage measures 22.6L x 18.7W x 21.5H inches and includes all the accessories a gerbil enthusiast needs to get started; a gerbil hide-out, food bowl, water bottle and exercise wheel. The plastic bottom of the gerbil cage measures 22.25L x 18.05W x 11.5H inches and can be removed by easily unclasping the plastic clamps that attaches the bottom of the cage to the top living area which provides for easy cleaning. Your gerbil can access the top living area through the included play tunnel or the plastic ramp (all ramps and living area surfaces are made of plastic ensuring a safe surface for your pet). This gerbil cage also features a white powder coated metal top which is rust resistant and an extra-large opening on top of the cage for convenient access.
