The FA6720-R Kitchen Heat Alarm, designed to replace the HT-630 model, features a 10-year, sealed-for-life battery and patented Thermistor heat sensing technology, providing the highest level of fire protection for you and your family. HEAT SENSING TECHNOLOGY Heat alarms are ideal for areas with high humidity and cooking fumes where traditional smoke alarms aren't suitable. Suitable for kitchens, garages, and lofts, this heat fire alarm won’t be triggered by humidity, cooking fumes, or dust. SLEEP EASY If a low battery alert occurs at night, you can silence the heat detector for 8 hours by pressing the test button. The alarm will be muted, but the red LED will continue to flash. The alarm will still detect heat during the Sleep Easy mode. Replace the batteries ASAP and within 30 days. TEST/SILENCE BUTTON To test the device, press the large test button. An alarm will sound at a reduced volume to verify it’s functioning correctly. In case of a false alarm, press the test button to temporarily silence the alert for 10 minutes.
