Southwire's XHHW-2 & RW90 conductors are mainly used in conduit, cable tray, or other recognized raceways for service, feeders, and branch circuit wiring, as per the National Electric Code (NEC) and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). These conductors can operate at temperatures up to 90°C under normal conditions, 130°C during emergencies, and 250°C in short circuit situations. They have a voltage rating of 1000 volts. The flexible, tinned copper stranding allows for easy installation in tight spaces and is suitable for use in electrical equipment in industrial facilities with harsh chemicals, telecommunications, and data centers.
