This is a beautifully completed framed cross stitch piece of art. It is a vintage Janlynn design #80-31 titled "Sailboats & Seagulls". This maritime themed cross stitch does indeed feature sailboats and seagulls, as well as a lighthouse, trees, and their reflection in the "water".
It is "signed" by the thread artist MM 1990, and is framed in an oval wooden frame with a wire on the back, so it is ready for hanging. It was NOT framed with glass.
The frame has a few scuffs and a small hole in the backing paper, but this is in excellent condition overall, especially for its age!
Frame measurements: 12.5 in. H x 10.25 in. W x .75 in. D.
The opening in the frame that displays the embroidered picture is 9.5 in. H x 7.5 in. W.
