French Antique Earrings 18k Dormeuse Jewelry

Purchased from an antique jewelry shop in France.

These earrings are a "dormeuse" design, where the hook passes from behind the earlobe and through the hole in the motif. They are comfortable enough to wear while sleeping, and are also known as sleeper earrings.

These are Art Deco-style earrings with a simple and refined design.
