French Army Canvas Leather Shoulder Bag - New Old Stock (NOS)

Shoulder bag used in the 1950s-60s.
Rare deadstock from the French military.

* Although unused, one rivet is missing, the metal fittings have rust and verdigris, and the leather parts are scuffed with some paint peeling, so it is listed as "Near Mint." There is also a unique smell characteristic of old items.

A sturdy and heavy bag. The strap is robust, like a belt.

Made of thick, tightly woven canvas cotton fabric with a slight waterproof finish.
Leather is used on the inside to increase strength, suggesting it may have been a tool bag.
It has a simple design with no pockets, just for putting things in.

The strap is made of genuine leather and is removable.
There are two belt loops on the back.

It's the perfect size for a 13-inch PC.
It can be used as a backpack as well as a shoulder bag, offering a 2-way style.

The shoulder belt can be detached and adjusted in two parts (photo 15).

This heavy-duty construction of leather and fabric, not seen in current military items, makes it a true military vintage item.

Size: Outer dimensions approx. 22 x 33 x 11cm (fits a 13-inch PC). The strap can be adjusted up to approx. 130cm.
