This telephoto lens produces excellent macro images. By using one aspherical and one low-dispersion element, various aberrations such as field curvature and chromatic aberration are controlled, and the lens group shifts together during focusing to achieve sharpness in the X series lineup. Not only is it suitable for close-ups, but it can also be used for many other telephoto applications, and the F2.4 aperture provides smooth bokeh. It is a telephoto lens with a bright F-value of F2.4 despite its compact size.
A glass-molded aspherical lens is used in the 7th lens to prevent field curvature, and an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass lens is used in the 6th lens to suppress chromatic aberration.
This lens, which combines bokeh and high-definition depiction, is effective in portrait photography.
