- INCLUDED IN THE KIT: (500′) – 1/4 Galvanized Steel Cable with a 6,100 lb. breaking strength; (4) – 12″ Turnbuckles; (4) – 6″ Turnbuckle; (30) – 1/4″ Cable Clamps; (8) – 6″ Eye Bolts; (400) – 8 mm Spring Links. Please Note: poles and custom netting are sold separately.
- FEATURES: This professional backstop system is framed with a tensioned galvanized steel cable that keeps your baseball protective netting taught with no sagging.
- INSTALLATION: When installing the hardware kit with a wall, eyebolts are recommended every 3 – 4′. Eyebolts and other wall hardware are not included. Recommended pole size is 10.75″OD x .375″ wall thickness. Poles not included. When protecting spectators from errant balls, it’s important to choose the right netting to go with your backstop system. Douglas recommends high-impact 1-3/4″ square mesh baseball netting with a rope-bound border for our cable backstop systems. Netting not included.
