Warranty Dock D-Fender Limited Warranty What is Covered: Dock D-Defender warrants to the original purchaser that the Dock D-Fender product covered by this warranty statement, if purchased and used in the United States or Canada, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of (1) year from the date of purchase. Any failure or defect of the product must occur under normal operating conditions. Normal operating conditions is defined as “used as a temporary mooring device.” Product is not intended to be used for long term docking or for use in high wind and wave conditions. Product is designed to help defend against dock scuffing when docking and mooring a vessel temporarily by an individual while preparing to trailer a boat or short-term docking or tie up for loading and unloading cargo or passengers. What Dock D-Fender Will Do to Correct Problems: Should the Dock D-Fender prove defective during the warranty period, please contact Dock D-Fender to file a warranty claim. Original receipt of purchase will need to be presented to file this claim. If replacements are authorized, they will be shipped freight prepaid within the United States and Canada. What this Warranty Does not Cover: This warranty covers normal use, in the United States and Canada. Normal use is defined as: Temporary mooring device, not to be used in high wind and large wave conditions. This warranty is not transferable. Warranty does not cover damage to the Dock D-Fender product by third party parts, components or peripheral devices added to the Dock D-Fender product. This warranty does not cover product failure due to misuse, abuse, improper installation, neglect, improper shipping, damage caused by disasters such as flood, fire, or lightning. Dock D-Fender shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage, including direct, special, incidental or consequential damages, including damages to vessel, loss of use, substitute product, downtime, claims of third parties, or injury resulting from the use or inability to use Dock D-Fender products, whether resulting from a breach of warranty or any other legal theory. Warranty items must have a RMA to be returned, to obtain an RMA number please contact Dock D-Fender.Warranty What Is Covered: Dock D-Fender LLC ("Dock D-Fender") warrants to the original purchaser that its Dock D-Fender product, when purchased and used within the United States or Canada, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal operating conditions for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Normal operating conditions are defined as use of the product as a temporary mooring aid. Dock D-Fender is not for long-term docking or use in high wind or heavy wave environments. The Dock D-Fender is specifically designed to protect against dock scuffing during temporary mooring, such as when preparing to trailer a vessel, or during short-term docking for loading or unloading cargo or passengers. The Dock D-Fender is intended for use with low-profile bass boats (21 feet and under), pontoons, and smaller ski boat designs. ​ What Dock D-Fender Will Do: If the product proves defective during the warranty period under normal use, please contact Dock D-Fender to file a warranty claim. A copy of the original purchase receipt and return of the defective product will be required. Dock D-Fender will pay for return shipping of the defective product. If the claim is approved, Dock D-Fender will provide a replacement product at no charge, shipped freight prepaid within the United States or Canada. ​ What This Warranty Does Not Cover: This limited warranty does not cover: Use outside of temporary mooring applications. Use in high wind, rough water, or heavy wave conditions. Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or modifications. Damage caused by accidents, shipping damage, or natural disasters (including but not limited to floods, fires, or lightning strikes). Damage caused by use with third-party accessories, components, or peripheral devices not supplied by Dock D-Fender. Products used with vessel types for which the Dock D-Fender is not intended (including, but not limited to, high-profile hull designs such as center consoles, deep-V hulls, and boats with sharply rising gunwales). This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Dock D-Fender shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: Damage to vessels, docks, or other property; Loss of use or downtime; Substitution costs; Claims of third parties; Personal injury arising from the use or inability to use the Dock D-Fender product. Dock D-Fender reserves the right to inspect any product returned under warranty to determine the cause of failure before approving a warranty claim.
