It allows for one-handed loosening and tightening of tool-less chucks; simply position the spindle brake disc down to lock the spindle and cut power to the mill. Once the tool change is done, lift the Spindle Brake disc up and over the spindle and drawbar to restore power. Crafted to precise specifications in machining centers for the G0619 Mill, the disc is made of 303 Stainless Steel, and the plate of 6061-T6511 Aluminum. The symmetrical disc functions identically when mounted on either side. Manufactured in the USA.
