It began broadcasting on the TV Asahi network in October 1996. Starring Kyoya Shibata, along with a cast of unique actors such as Toru Kazama, Sei Hiraizumi, Kirin Kiki, and Jun Fubuki, it gained popularity as a human & action detective drama full of human interest, and became a long-running hit program that led to the production of a total of 8 series.
